Code correct Marlboro Maroon exterior with Black stinger, Black vinyl interior. Numbers matching 435hp 427ci engine, numbers matching 4 speed manual transmission, numbers matching 4.11 posi rear-end. Features include side exhaust, AM/FM radio. This is it, the big dog -- short of spending millions of dollars on one of the 20 L88 cars built, the 435hp L71 is the most powerful \\'67 Corvette available. This example was assembled on June 5, 1967, and received the NCRS Second Flight chapter award in 2005. This car\\'s paint and chrome look to be older, and are in good to very good condition, with a nice shine. With the exception of the windshield, every piece of exterior glass in this car shows a correct date code. Weatherstripping and taillights look to be newer and are in very good condition, and original looking door handles are in good condition. Rally wheels and associated trim rings and center caps are in very good condition, and Firestone Deluxe Champion redline bias-play tires show plenty of tread remaining at an average of 9/32nds. The interior of this 1967 Corvette 427/435hp shows good condition seat covers, center console, dash pads, GM seatbelts, and steering wheel. Carpet looks to be slightly older and is in good to very good condition, and recent looking door panels are in very good to excellent condition. Correct appearing AM/FM radio is in place, and the clock is working at the time of this writeup with what appears to be a quartz movement. The numbers matching engine in this 1967 Corvette 427/435hp shows original casting date February 21, 1967, and final assembly date May 25, 1967. Correct air cleaner, carburetors, intake manifold, hoses, hose clamps, ignition shielding, valve covers, alternator, and exhaust manifolds are all in place.
